Adrian Hates

Adrian Hates (born 17 January 1973 in Düsseldorf) is the founder, mastermind and lead singer of the German goth band Diary of Dreams.
At the age of 9, he learned to play the guitar, later bass and piano. At the age of 14 he wrote his first poems and lyrics expressing his thoughts on people's arrogance, stupidity and maliciousness. In 1992 he joined the German goth rock band Garden of Delight on bass, which he left in 1997. In 1989, Adrian Hates founded Diary of Dreams with Alistair Kane. He later founded Accession Records.
