U-Bahn station Ernst-Reuter-Platz

Ernst-Reuter-Platz is an Berlin U-Bahn station located on the U2 in Charlottenburg, near the Technical University. It was opened as the western terminus of the first Berlin U-Bahn line on December 14, 1902 under the name of Knie (knee, meaning road curve). In 1953 the station and the eponymous square were renamed after the West Berlin mayor Ernst Reuter.
