Garreth Carvell is a rugby league player who plays for Warrington Wolves. His position is prop-forward and he has enjoyed a run of superb form during recent seasons, steamrollering defences with his barnstorming runs.

Carvell is a Welsh and current Great Britain international. He is one of the best prop forwards ever to grace the english league.[citation needed]

Phil Gould in his newspaper column referred to him as "Gareth Gravel". As a consequence he was nicknamed "pebbles".

He will play for the Warrington wolves from 2009 on a three-year deal that will see him at the Wolves until the end of the 2011 season. He is already sidelined with injury (March 2009).

Carvell played in the 2000 Rugby League World Cup, 2006 Super League Grand Final, 2005 Rugby League Challenge Cup Final, 2008 Rugby league challenge cup final.

He has been named in the England training squad for the 2008 Rugby League World Cup.[1]

During A Battle With Hull FC At The KC Stadium Warrington Wolves Member Gareth Carvell Made A Dirty Tackle At One Of The Hull FC Members And Was Sent Off But 5 Minutes After That He Came Back On And All The Hull FC Fans Shouted And Called Him A Fat Bastard And Even Shouted "You Fat Bastard! You Bastard Bastard! You Fat Bastard! You Fat Bastard!".
