Massimo Colomba (born August 24, 1977) is a Swiss footballer who currently plays as goalkeeper for FC Basel in the Swiss Super League.
Colomba began his professional career with Neuchatel Xamax in 1997 before joining FC Aarau at the beginning of the 2002/03 season where he became the club's first-choice goalkeeper until the 2007/08 season where he was usurped by Ivan Benito. At the end of the season he left Aarau to join nearby Grasshoppers Zürich as understudy to Eldin Jakupović. On June 16, 2009, he joined FC Basel on a three-year contract.[1]
