The Norwegian Students' Society (Norwegian: Det Norske Studentersamfund) is Norway's oldest student society. Established in 1813 in Oslo, it has been the centre of debate, culture and politics for nearly 200 years.

The Society resides at Chateau Neuf, opened in 1971, where it runs a couple of cafes and a cinema. Studentersamfundet frequently arrange debates, lectures and concerts. Most of the activity at Chateau Neuf is generated by volunteers. People signing up for the many different jobs at hand; booking bands, running the bars, arranging debates, rigging the PA for concerts among some of the jobs at hand. Studentersamfundet also hosts it own theater and music groups.

Two years after the Royal Frederick University (today named the University of Oslo) was founded, 18 of the 19 students formed the Norwegian Students' Society. The idea was to make a social, intellectual and cultural arena for the students in Norway's capital.
