Patron or patronage may refer to:
- Patronage in general (the support, encouragement, privilege and often financial aid given by a person or an organization; the right of bestowing offices or church benefices; the business given by a regular customer; the guardianship of saints)
- In transportation, patronage, or ridership, is a statistical quantity of passengers
- Political parties use the patronage system or spoils system to give government jobs to their voters as a reward for winning an election. (This system was opposed by those who favor a meritocracy.)
