A political organisation is an organisation that involves itself in the political process. In a broader sense, a political organisation can also be viewed as a political system, as long as it includes the entire system and body of government. It is a part of the total organisation concerned with the preservation of social order within a specified territory by a duly recognised authority. It also creates a form of structure to abide by.
