Punkalaidun is a municipality of Finland.
It is located in the province of Western Finland and is part of the Pirkanmaa region. The municipality has a population of 3,342 (31 March 2009)[2] and covers an area of 364.05 square kilometres (140.56 sq mi) of which 2.93 km2 (1.13 sq mi) is water.[1] The population density is 9.25 inhabitants per square kilometre (24.0 /sq mi).
The municipality is unilingually Finnish.
