ON "Dynamic web pages where invented and patented in 1994 by Gary Kremen founder of Match.Com and Sex.Com".

Perhaps at USA people can patent public domain (like Dynamic web pages or genes) and post-invent public standards (CGI in this case).

Sugestion for new text, moved from User:Gkremen (Gary Kremen?) change... and need reliable sources:

It is not a dictionary, for "fast definition". Dynamic web page need a CAREFUL definition because people DO MISTAKES (a lot of!)... and the Lead Section "Establish context", "Provide an accessible overview" and give "Relative emphasis" to the 3 main points (Client-side, Server-side and mix=Ajax).

Please, talk here first, it is not a "intro-tobe" case.

I came to this page because I read the advantages in the article of Static web page to be cache-friendly and wanted to learn how this would be with Dynamic web page and why. Well, this piece of information seems missing here. Would anyone help adding some information about how dynamic web page is related with cache functionality? Thanks. [edit] Misleading explanation The current explanation is highly misleading: "Dynamic" may indeed refer to interactivity; however, typically, it refers to the differentiation into static and dynamically generated pages (Wikipedia is, probably, an example of the former, as are many apparently statical websites based on a CMS). Another common meaning is "uses DHTML", which also does not (automatically) imply interactivity. I suggested that the page be correspondingly rewritten to discuss primarily static vs. dynamically generated pages, with interactivity as an example of application of the latter, with an additional part discussing DHTML and related themes. 88.77.132.42 (talk) 23:15, 23 May 2009 (UTC)
