Usage
This template will categorise tagged articles into Category:Articles with topics of unclear notability. This template is a self-reference. It should never be used with subst.
Providing no arguments to the template will result in a generic but rather verbose message with a comprehensive list of notability guidelines. An optional argument renders the message more specific. Specific options include:
- Academics
- Biographies or Bio
- Books or Book
- Companies
- Fiction or Fict
- Films, Film, Movies, or Movie
- Institutions
- Music
- Neologisms
- Numbers
- Organizations, Organisations, or Org,
- Products
- Web
Otherwise, you can use:
- Notability – in this case, only the main general notability guideline article is referenced.
Use this template when an article subject is most likely non-notable. When an article is certainly, hopelessly non-notable take it to Articles for deletion or nominate it for proposed deletion.
